Why are you levelling before EQ? Surely you're leveling to a false representation of the final mix? Wouldnt it be more advisable to EQ each sound before you level? Just how I do it, I've never seen it done like you did before today. Any particular reason or is it ust how it works best for you?

Thanks for that many videos have shown me “samples” that are really pre built loops and the producers already know the bpm because it’s displayed lol It’s nice to see a real sample being used with a logical explanation of chopping and sampling! Great work!

As an up and coming independent artist It's crazy because producers rather go to the labels and get screwed over (💰 they don't receive ) instead of looking for the independent artist who will split the bag I've found great producers and we rock and I've found others who over charge as of I have label backing and also refuse to be hand on but they demand a bag for the track yal not helping with so in our mind we paying u all that money to keep your splits U want the money or the points

Every time I place 808s and pitch them down to 4th octave, they just sound so muddy and low. But when I pitch them up, they don't hit. Any fix for this?

ngl, if you would've spent a little more time finding a more accurate tempo you wouldn't need to cut so much. then do the realtime stretching macro to tighten up the BPM.

Smh this dude just told 215,000 people the wrong way. Do not I repeat do not put your kick at 0 db. your kick should be at -6 db you’re 808 should be anywhere from -15 to -12 dB Any melody should be at -21 dB and if you are a tracking engineer your vocal should be at -18 dB. Thank me later
